Mr. Mir Mosharref Hossain, is a prominent businessmen and a career journalist in Bangladesh. He is mostly known to everyone through his nickname ‘Pakbir’. He is a well known social worker and appraised for his works for the development of the children, especially at rural area of the country.

He was born on 10th October, 1963 at Companyganj upazila of Noakhali district. He has completed his graduation in Law. During the early days of his career, he worked at the senior management position like; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of many renowned companies in Bangladesh like; Loyal Shipping (Pvt.) Ltd., Mohammadi Housing Ltd., Mohammadi Designers Ltd. and Mohammadi Fashions Ltd. He became a very prominent name of the corporate world of Bangladesh within a very quick period. Later he set foot in the business world by setting up his own business organizations.

Mir Mosharref Hossain started his business journey with real estate sector. He established Mohammadi Homes Ltd., a renowned name of real estate sector of current days. He was also pursuing his career as an aspiring journalist as he established country’s third news agency, Mohammadi News Agency (MNA) in 1996. Along with that, he is the Managing Director of Mohammadi Homes Ltd., Mohammadi Stock Market Ltd. (DSE TREC No. 015), Mohammadi MR Shipping Ltd., Mohammadi Air Travels Ltd., Mohammadi Farms Ltd. and TimeNow Ltd. (Technological R&D). He is also the Chairman of Madani Nagar Ltd. and Mohammadi Legal Services Ltd. He is one of the Directors of the Daily Observer, Chief Editor of Mohammadi News Agency (MNA) and the Chairman of Rebus Media Ltd. He is also the Editor of Kishore Bangla, a momentous and juvenile magazine for the children and teenagers.

He has visited many countries several times to attend international seminars & symposiums over business issues and journalism. In personal life, being a very pious man, he has performed holy Hajj and Umrah several times.

Mir Mosharref Hossain has dedicated his time and finance in helping poor and meritorious students, autistic children. He takes pride in being one of the front-runners of the country as a child organizer. He is actively patronizing several mosques and madrasas all around the country. He has also contributed significantly in the area of environmental management. He has plans to make further contribution on education, employment, environmental development and accommodation nationally.

He believes in working for the welfare of all the stakeholders of the company as well as of fellow countrymen. As his business motto, he works with no compromise in service and support to the clients of the group as he wants to ensure an excellent client experience at every point.

In personal life, Mir Mosharref Hossain leads a loving and caring life with his wife and two daughters.
